The director who started boy love movie in the Philippines Jay Altarejos set to release BL series this August.
Altarejos is known for his boy love/gay movies “Ang Lihim Ni Antonio,” “Kasal,” “Pink Halo-Halo,” and “Tale Of The Lost Boys.”
He recently launched his online channel 2076 Online Channel that shows his latest series “Balangaw” and other lockdown shows.
“Balangaw” gets an inspiration from ABS-CBN shutdown. It receives good reviews from independent movie reviewers.
“That’s right, we’re creating BL series very soon. Habang binubuo ko ‘yung story, nag-iisip na rin kami kung sino ang kukuhaing artista.
“Para bigyan kayo ng patikim, it’s a story of an older man and a young. They meet again after 5 years.”
Altarejos said that he will follow health protocols as he begins shooting soon.
