In her speech for the Asia Content Awards, ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer of Broadcast Cory Vidanes said that ABS-CBN remains undaunted in championing Filipino content globally.
She also added that the award ABS-CBN received from Asia Content Awards is an honor, especially since the network continues to promote Filipino talent and content globally despite the hurdles it experienced during the pandemic.
“In the last 65 years, we have created an environment of innovation, nurturing all our content creators, producers, artisans, and talents to embrace a new era of global excellence. I humbly share this award with all the men and women of ABS-CBN, and with every Filipino, we continue to serve,” said Vidanes via pre-recorded speech for Asia Content Awards.
ABS-CBN continued to provide quality content for their audience through digital platforms such as YouTube and Facebook, despite having Congress denying its franchise renewal and the economic downturn from the pandemic.
Some of these contents are Love Thy Woman, Ang Iyo Ay Akin, Walang Hanggang Paalam, Ito’s Showtime, ASAP Natin To, Hello Stranger, etc.
To date, ABS-CBN Digital platforms like Facebook have over 21 million likes. On the other hand, their YouTube channel has over 30.4 million subscribers.
