Kapamilya celebrities Diego Loyzaga and Barbie Imperial finally confirmed their relationship after months of dating rumors.
The couple made the confirmation through a Twitter post from Diego.
On January 1, 2021, on New Year’s day, Diego posted on his Twitter account a photo with Barbie which showed the two in a romantic embrace. The actor thanked Barbie for making his 2020 memorable.

“Happy new year to us. Thanks for making the end of my 2020 memorable,” Diego wrote.
The actor’s post garnered positive reactions from the netizens who expressed their joy with the couple’s relationship. People were happy to know that they finally confirmed their relationship after months of being romantically linked with each other.
Dating rumors between them started around November when Diego left a comment on Barbie’s bikini photo on Instagram.
Recently, Diego and Barbie were spotted dating at Pinto Museum. In the photos shared by FashionPulis.com, the two seemed to be casually talking with each other and seen sharing a meal.
The last reported relationship of Diego Loyzaga was with Sofia Andres who now has a beautiful one-year-old daughter with boyfriend Daniel Miranda. Barbie was linked to actor JM De Guzman.
In an interview on Magandang Buhay, host Karla Estrada asked Barbie if she and Diego are dating, “Actually po magkaibigan talaga kami before pa super close talaga kami. ‘Yun nga po matagal po kaming hindi nagkita pero isa lang din po ‘yung grupo namin. Tapos parang ‘yung mga friends namin gusto nila ‘try niyo kaya mag-date ni Diegs.’”
“Tapos kami parang huwag na huwag na. Kasi noong 2018 hindi ba po parang ang dami kong pinagdaanan sa love life and si Diegs din. So parang ako… hindi kami perfect for each other nung time na ‘yon.”
As of this writing, Barbie still hasn’t given her statement on her relationship with Diego.
