Dingdong Dantes will play the role of Isaak Macalintal, a morally upright military detail entrusted with the welfare and safety of the Vice-President. He will work opposite Rhian Ramos, TJ Trinidad, Jackielou Blanco and seasoned actress Lorna Tolentino in the said project.
According to Dingdong, he’s proud of the project because it not only boosts a stellar cast, but it’s something new for the audience. This is his first time to do a story like “Genesis” and he would like to leave a lasting impact on the viewing public.
“(Challenge) Kung paano ko ma-translate yung kalakihan ng concept ng show, kung paano ko siya maipapakita sa manonood. How they will understand the characters and paano nila maiintindihan that love sees no end. It is reality, na pwedeng mangyari ito sa iyo ngayon or bukas. Pero ang tanong what will you do about it. They will see story of hope, story of how mankind survives, it will uplift their spirit,” he said.
Directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal and Mark Reyes, the series will show the basic goodness of mankind; that we are capable of love, hope, faith, forgiveness and sacrifice even what adversities will come our way. It resonates that there’s hope in the future and love sees no end.
“Genesis” serves as his first major project under a new five-year deal with the network. “Genesis” will premiere on October 14 on GMA Telebabad.
