Followers of celebrities were extremely protective and loyal to their respective idols. The competition was sometimes so extreme that some fans engaged in verbal and extreme fights to defend their idols.
Lately, there were screenshots of comments from supposedly KathNiel fans encouraging other fellow fans to hurt Nadine Lustre, the other half of the JaDine loveteam, which is at present the rival love team of KathNiel on ABS-CBN.
In an interview Kathryn and Daniel were asked what they thought about the situation. Both of them are really affected by the news that their fans are bashing other celebrities especially those who are also on the pedestal of stardom.
Here is what Daniel thought about the situation and here’s what he said:
“It’s sad to think that our fans are doing this to the other stars who are also one of our close friends. It’s not worth it to shame or destroy someone’s reputation just to make sure the one or the other is always on top.
As Daniel quoted saying” “Don’t be a sadist”. “We are just doing what we love to do , and that is being an artist”. They are our friends, and it’s not right to treat them or us like that.
Even the “Mother Queen” Carla Estrada, Daniel Padilla mom has spoken.
We hope that this alleged fans will listen to their idols. Learn how to balance your fandom life with your personal life. They should treat others with respect like you want others to treat you as well.
