Coco Martin guided Julia Montes through hands-on training to prep her up in doing stunts for the long-running primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
In a video posted by Dreamscape Entertainment on August 13, Montes was seen in full swing training under the leadership of Martin, who is also the show’s director.
The actor taught the actress how to make proper hand movements, posture, and actions during fights scenes typically seen in the primetime show.
Prior to this, Montes also trained herself in target shooting and motorcycling that can be utilized in some of the Ang Probinsyano scenes.
On Instagram, Muay Thai instructor Erwin Tagle shared a video of Montes and Martin doing intense fights stunts.
In June 2021, Dreamscape Entertainment announced that Montes would have her TV comeback as the newest leading lady of Martin in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
The two were first paired up in the phenomenal TV drama Walang Hanggan in 2012. Their TV reunion comes after years of clamor from fans to get them back together.
Montes and Martin have long been rumored to be in a relationship, although they have neither confirmed nor denied the issue.
On March 2021, the rumored couple was spotted leaving Caticlan Airport together after photos and videos of the two stars surfaced on social media. It was also reported that they arrived together in Boracay island.
In 2019, some reports alleged that Julia hid herself in Germany because she is secretly pregnant with Coco’s child.
The speculations started when Montes did not appear in many Kapamilya events, including the ABS-CBN Ball, ABS-CBN Christmas Special, and a special screening of the advocacy film she starred in.
This issue, however, was dismissed by her manager, Erickson Raymundo.
