Marian Rivera-Dantes has the most popular facebook page in the Philippines, with 25.26 million followers.
On November 28, via Instagram Stories, Rivera shared a screenshot of an article featuring the list of popular facebook pages in the Philippines in 2021.
Rivera tops the list with 25.26 million facebook followers, followed by Niana Guerrero with 23.36 million followers and ABS-CBN with 21.52 million followers respectively.
In an interview, Rivera was asked why her record with the number of followers on facebook is not easily beaten by other social media influencers.
“Abangan nila ako dahil magiging active na ako sa facebook. Mag-la-live na rin ako. Abangan nila ako… Sa mga nagmamahal sa akin, dahil sa kanila ‘yan. Hindi naman magiging ganyan ang followers na ‘yan kung hindi sa mga nagmamahal. Kanila ‘yan. Bilang pagmamahal nila sa akin,” she responded.
With 25.26 million followers on facebook, Rivera becomes the most popular personality, and the most followed celebrity on the said social media platform.
In July 2021, Rivera promised to go live on facebook after being named as Most Followed Celebrity.
Kapuso Primetime Queen is using the platform to share news about her career, her life as a wife, and her journey with her children–Zia and Sixto.
Rivera is the host of GMA Network’s Saturday drama anthology Tadhana.
Rivera rose to fame when she became the lead star of the Filipino adaptation of the hit Mexican series, Marimar in 2007.
