On January 1, Ilacad posted a photo on her Instagram account. She captioned, with moon and starlight emoji at the end: “Sometimes an angel, sometimes a hell-raiser, always a strong woman.”

A netizen noticed that the Kapuso Primetime Queen liked Ilacad’s recent photo, and posted the screenshot online.
“omg, marian rivera liked one of your ig post! i know your kilig, @alexailacad!! ✨ happy new year to you!” the caption said.
Ilacad quoted the tweet and said: “OHMYGOD!! [crying with tears and white heart emojis] my heaaaaaart! Kiliiiiiiiiig!”

In 2015, Ilacad could not contain her happiness when Rivera followed her on her Instagram.
She tweeted: “guys GUYS MY LIFE GOAL aka Ms. MARIAN RIVERA FOLLOWED ME ON IG WAA im freaking out rn i cant even I need to breatheeeeee”
In June 2015, Ilacad commented “I LOVE YOU IDOL” on one of Rivera’s Instagram post.
Rivera reacted by tagging Ilacad on her post. The latter thanked the former for following her on Instagram.
