In July 2021, during his contract renewal with the GMA network, Licauco promised to improve himself as an artist.
“Gusto ko bigyan ng sukli ‘yung trust ni binigay nila [GMA Network] sa akin. Sa mga next projects ko, mas gagalingan ko pa, I will work on sa sarili ko with regards to acting,” said the actor.
