On January 22, showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz shared his thoughts on Filipinos who started changing their support to Vice President Leni Robredo for the presidential elections.
On Facebook, Diaz posted a collection of screenshots that showed netizens who started supporting Robredo after the Jessica Soho Presidential Interview special on GMA Network.
Most of the posts he shared on his social media show netizens who either switched over to VP Robredo’s camp or knew someone personally who changed their presidential bets for the 2022 elections.
He also revealed that he had personal friends who changed their minds and started rooting for Robredo in the 2022 elections after seeing her answer questions from the seasoned broadcast journalist Jessica Soho.
Soho hosted the GMA Network TV special and interviewed the leading candidates for the 2022 elections, such as Robredo, Senator Ping Lacson, Senator Manny Pacquiao, and Mayor Isko Moreno.
Notably, Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. didn’t participate in the interview, claiming that Soho was biased against the presidential aspirant. Marco also publicly defined “biased” as Anti-Marcos in his recent appearance in One News PH.
Soho asked hard-hitting questions to the presidential candidates, ranging from past statements or posts to their thoughts on social issues. The topics discussed during the interview are The West Philippine Sea, Extra-Judicial Killings, same-sex marriage, Government’s Pandemic Response, Peace Talks with CPP-NPA, and PH-US Visiting Forces Agreement.
