Through her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, January 26, Karen Davila said that she is “restrained” from doing political interviews on her vlog as she is part of TV Patrol.
This was her explanation to her YouTube subscribers who requested her to do the presidential-aspirants interview as 2022 polls near.
She said, “I have read all your messages and am getting several requests to feature some of your favorite candidates or do Presidential interviews on the channel.
“Having joined TV Patrol last October as one of its news anchors, I am restrained from doing political interviews on my vlog specially during this campaign period. Tama po ito.”
Davila believed that political interviews should be done by the news program of ABS-CBN and ANC.
Davila explained, “Kung mapapansin nyo po, ang huling political personality na naka-usap ko ay si Dr. Willie Ong, at inilabas ko po yon bago po ako sumali ng TV Patrol.
“I am part of a larger news team. Bahagi po ako ng ABS-CBN News. Lahat po ng may kinalaman sa eleksyon ay karapat dapat lumabas lamang sa ABS-CBN o sa ANC.
“We will continue to do inspiring life stories on my channel! To God be the glory always!”
Davila became one of the main anchors of TV Patrol after Ted Failon and Noli de Castro left the program.
