Vice Ganda’s two-year old hit comedy variety talk show in ABS-CBN “Gandang Gabi Vice” continues to rule its timeslot as proven by the latest data from Kantar Media last Sunday (July 14), when Vice featured “The Voice of the Philippines” coach and Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.ap and famous hip-hop artist Abra.
“GGV” once again reigned its time slot with its 19.7% national TV ratings, which was five points higher that it rival show in GMA, “Imbestigador” that only scored 14.6%.
Since it premiered on 2011, “GGV” managed to be a consistent top-rater, successfully conquering all the rival shows pitted against it. “GGV” was such a phenomenal hit that among TV viewers and netizens that it is now dubbed as the ‘trending capital of the Philippines’ because the show and its guests unfailingly dominate the top trending topics’ list of popular microblogging site Twitter.
