On March 1, Kapuso stars Rhian Ramos and Kris Bernal admitted that they got injured during their catfight scenes while taping their new teleserye.
During the media conference for Artikulo 247, Bernal stated that injuries while taping their fight scenes were inevitable.
“Marami, hindi mo maiiwasan eh, hindi mo maiiwasan na masaktan, and syempre as much as possible, gusto nating gawing realistic. Ayaw din naman nating dayain. Pero kami kasi ni Rhian we make sure lang na hindi talaga namin nasasaktan ‘yung isa’t isa.”
She clarified that they tried to apologize to each other at every end of their fight scenes.
“Alam ko nasaktan ko siya, pero nagso-sorry naman ako after kasi ayaw ko nga siyang saktan. Pero umuwi ako na ang dami ko pasa, ang dami kong sugat.”
Ramos agreed with Bernal recalling the injuries she inflicted on her co-star.
“And tsaka parang wala naman personalan when it comes to that. Parang pagka may nangyayaring accidentally, masasaktan mo talaga kasi syempre nagsa-sampalan kayo, nagfa-fight scene kayo, may sabunutan, and things like that. Minsan makakalmot ko si Kris dahil nangyari ‘yung eksena na somewhere na mabato.”
Ramos noted that they didn’t take the fight scenes personally.
“Pero wala namang personalan, parang after noong scene nile-let go kaagad namin. Tapos, ‘oy sorry ha, nasaktan kita.’ We’ll check on each other. Kami naman ‘yung magche-check kung okay ‘yung scene partner namin.”
Bernal and Ramos star in GMA Network’s riveting legal drama, Artikulo 247.
Joining the them are Kapuso stars Benjamin Alves, Mark Herras, Mike Tan, Victor Silayan, Carla Martinez, Denise Barbacena, Rain Matienzo, and Brent Valdez.
The gripping teleserye directed by Jorron Lee Monroy premieres on March 7 on GMA Afternoon Prime.
