Zoren Legaspi, Maricel Laxa, Mikee Quintos, and Lianne Valentin are set to star in the upcoming Kapuso afternoon series Apoy sa Langit.
Laxa will portray the character of Gemma, a widowed jewelry designer, while Quintos will play her daughter, Ning.
Gemma will soon meet and fall in love with Legaspi’s character, Zoren, the former furniture contractor of her deceased husband.
Valentin’s character, Stella, will pretend to be the estranged daughter of Cesar in order to seduce him and take him away from Gemma and Ning.
Apoy sa Langit cast also include Dave Bornea as Anthony Zulueta, Coleen Paz as Patring Benepayo, Patricia Ismael as Lucy Fuerte, and Mio Maranan as Toto Pancho.
It is the newest GMA Afternoon Prime series headed by Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Assistant Vice President for Drama Ali Marie Nokom-Dedicatoria, Senior Program Manager Camille Hermoso, Executive Producer Erwin Manzano Hilado, Senior Associate Producer May Robles Borja, and Junior Associate Producer Ynah Dizon.
Laurice Guillen directs it. It will have a world premiere on May 2.
