On September 15, artist Ashley Sarmiento described working in her first GMA Teleserye as easy, light, and comfortable.
During the media conference for Nakarehas na Puso with the press, including LionhearTV, Sarmiento narrated her experience acting in her first Kapuso series.
“Sa kabilang network po, Flordeliza po.Â
“Ang sarap po and dito po sa set po ng Nakarehas na Puso, super magaan po sa pakiramdam, lalo na po si Direk na masarap pong maka-work dahil hindi po siya sobrang istrikto and sobrang light lang po.”
She then explained her role in Nakarehas na Puso and how different it was from her in real life.
“Hindi naman po sobrang strict, pero si Nika po kasi, ginagawa niya po ang lahat para mapansin po siya ng Mama niya though ‘yung Mama niya po kulang po sa time. And ‘yun po ‘yung gusto pong maramdaman po ni Nika, ‘yung time po and ‘yung pagmamahal ng Mama niya which is hindi po napapakita. Kaya po simula noon, nag-start po siyang medyo magrebelde dahil nga po hindi siya pinapansin ng Mama niya.
“Sobrang baliktad po ng Mommy ko sa teleserye at tsaka po Mommy ko in real life. Kasi, po ‘yung Mommy ko in real life, nararamdaman ko po na sobrang supportive niya po and na-a-appreciate niya po ‘yung mga ginagawa ko po and proud po.”
She then advised neglected children to start a calm and respectful conversation with their parents.
“Para po sa akin, communication po. Try ninyo pong kausapin ‘yung parents ninyo about sa nararamdaman ninyo– calmly and at the same time may respect pa rin po.”
She also confessed that she wanted to get paired with her co-star Bryce Eusebio in future projects.
“Kahit sino naman po, pero pwede rin naman po si Bryce total siya naman po ‘yung–.
“Actually po, nagka-work na po kami ni Bryce sa TVC po, pero doon po magkapatid naman po kami doon. Ang tagal na rin po nun eh, Tapos ngayon–opo one day taping lang po ‘yun. Tapos ngayon, kakastart lang po namin na magka-work together and nagti-Tiktok din po kami, nag-uusap po minsan.”
Nakarehas na Puso stars Jean Garcia, Vaness Del Moral, Michelle Aldana, Edgar Allan Guzman and Leandro Baldemor.
The Kapuso series includes Claire Castro, Glenda Garcia, Ashley Sarmiento, and Bryce Eusebio.
Nakarehas na Puso, directed by Gil Tejada, started airing this September 26 on GMA Afternoon Prime.
