Inspiring talk of young indie filmmaker ang Phil Star columnist Pepe Diokno on the current state of Philippine Movie industry whose request is: “Please watch a Filipino movie.”

Pepe Diokno is known for winning the Orizzonti Prize and Luigi de Laurentiis (Lion of the Future Award) at the Venice Film Festival in 2009 with his first film “Engkwentro” (Cinemalaya 2009 finalist), at the young age of 22. He is considered as the youngest winner at the Venice Biennale, the oldest film festival in the world… Nice move to plug his new film “Above the Clouds” starring Pepe Diokno and GMA teen actor Ruru Madrid.
