“Wowowin” getting past “Eat Bulaga!” and “Encantadia” finally beating rival “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”.
In the AGB-Nielsen Urban Luzon survey for August 12 – 14, 2016, “Wowowin” landed on top of the daytime programming beating long time leader “Eat Bulaga!”. The Willie Revillame led show outscored “Eat Bulaga!” on Friday August 12 to settle on top of the daytime ratings board. “Wowowin” edged “Eat Bulaga!” by 1.1% with 20.9% vs 19.8%. This is one of the rate times that “Eat Bulaga!” slide from top to the number 2 position.
Meanwhile, GMA Network’s fantaserye requel “Encantadia” has finally beat ABS-CBN’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”. Also on Friday August 12, “Encantadia” registered 26.1% to remain in the number 2 rank defeating “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s” 25.1% which slide down to the number 3 position. This is the first time since its debut episode that “Encantadia” beats the Coco Martin starrer action drama teleserye again. “24 Oras” was the leader on that day with 26.2%.
During the weekend, it’s return to the top for two shows as “24 Oras Weekend” captured Saturday primetime’s top spot again and “The Voice Kids 3” ruling the Sunday nights.
“24 Oras Weekend” leads Saturday rankings with 25% beating former leader “Pepito Manaloto” which fell to the number 3 position with 23.8%. Following “24 Oras Weekend” is “The Voice Kids 3” with 23.9%.
On Sunday, “The Voice Kids 3” has returned to the top beating “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho”. The kapamilya reality singing competition which featured Kamp Kawayan’s Singoffs scored 24.6%, 1.5% higher than KMJS’ 23.1%. “Sunday Pinasaya” on the other hand continues to rule the morning shows together with other GMA Network programs. “Kapamilya Blockbusters” which features the box office hit A Second Chance was the only ABS-CBN show in the daytime top 10.
