Kapamilya noontime show gaining grounds on weekend timeslot and Pacquiao-Vargas match attracting wide viewer attention.
On the latest AGB Nielsen Urban Luzon TV Ratings survey for the period of November 4 – 6, 2016, ABS-CBN’s noontime show “It’s Showtime” surges to the 3rd spot inching closer to its archrival “Eat Bulaga!”. “It’s Showtime” on Saturday November 5, 2016 scored 13.8% to surge to the3rd place of Saturday rankings tying with GMA’s “Del Monte Kitchonomics”. “Eat Bulaga!” which retained its number 1 spot with 19.5% is just 5.7% ahead of its Kapamilya counterpart, the smallest lead after the dwindling popularity of AlDub. Imbestigador with 16.3% meanwhile placed second and Ipaglaban Mo getting 13.2%occupied the 4th spot of Saturday daytime rankings.
Saturday primetime on the other hand is still led by “Pepito Manaloto” with 25.1%, followed by “24 Oras Weekend” with 21.8% and “Magpakailanman” on 3rd place with 21.5%. Completing Saturday primetime’s top 5 are “Pinoy Boyband Superstar” with 16.5% and “MMK” with 16.3%
For Sunday, Pacquiao-Vargas’ match entitled “Resurgence” scored a whopping 32.7% making it the overall number 1 program on November 6. The Pacquiao-Vargas fight which aired afternoon bested former Sunday leader “Sunday Pinasaya” which settled in the number 2 position with 11.4% ratings. “Kapamilya Blockbuster” and “Family Feud” meanwhile followed in number 3 and “iBilib” and “Born To Be Wild” taking the number 4 and number 5 positions respectively.
On primetime, “24 Oras Weekend” climbed to number 1 bumping off former number 1 “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” which slide to the number 4 spot. Number 2 and 3 position were held by “Ismol Family” and “Hay Bahay” while ABS-CBN’s “Wansapanataym” took rank number 5.
