On July 10, BILIB members ZIO and Yukito cited how their experience with their previous Pinoy Pop band helped with their new PPop group.
At the media launch of BILIB’s ‘Kabanata,’ which LionhearTV covered, ZIO, previously known as ‘Zi.O’ in ‘Press Hit Play,’ cited how his experience with his previous group helped him apply discipline as a performer.
“Actually, ‘yung experience po namin doon sa dati naming group sobrang dami ko pong natutunan and na-aapply ko po siya dito kasi doon po kasi, bunso-bunso po, and then dito po, naging isa po ako sa mga naging panganay.Â
“And then na-aapply ko po dito ‘yung kung paano nadi-disiplina noon, tapos ngayon po sa kanila na po. Kaya ang laking tulong po talaga.”
Yukito then differentiated his experience in their previous PPop group from his time in BILIB.
“Gaya nga po ng sabi ni Zio, sa past group po kasi namin, isa po siya sa mga bunso ako naman po, walang pagkakaiba, ako pa rin po ‘yung panganay. Pero ito po talagang mga bunso po talaga, ‘yung kasama namin, nasa gitna po namin. So doon ko po na-experience ‘yung talagang makukulit pa po, and then masyadong nine-nerbyos pa po.”Â
He also noted how he learned to be more hands-on with their group compared to his time in ‘Press Hit Play.’
“Unlike po kasi sa grupo namin talagang same age. So dito po natutunan ko na mas maging involved sa process po. Kasi siyempre po, dito po talagang kailangan ng explanation, handle po talaga dapat ng handle kasi of course, marami pong nami-misunderstood, masyado pong may iba-ibang translation of our thoughts, so ‘yung po, ang isa po sa talagang natutunan ko is maging hands on po, or maging mas hands on po.”
