The talk began when one of the judges, Tirso Cruz III, shared his eagerness to be surprised by the upcoming group’s performance after being thoroughly impressed by the previous acts.
In response, Vice Ganda playfully stated, “Gugulatin namin kayo! Suspended tayo bukas!”
Vice Ganda also brought up the special guests from the teams led by Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid, and Ryan Bang, dropping a hint about their guest being a sibling of “Lulu.”
“Magugulat kayo sa guest namin… The world is healing. Basta kapatid ni Lulu.”
In this context, “Lulu” refers to the augmented reality character featured in the ‘Magpasikat’ performance by Karylle, Tyang Amy, MC, and Lassy.
It’s worth noting that the MTRCB, currently chaired by Lala Sotto (whose name sounds similar to “Lulu”), recently imposed a 12-day suspension on ‘It’s Showtime.’ This suspension was primarily triggered by a scene in which the hosts ate icing, a moment that the MTRCB found objectionable.
