Carmina Villarroel is choosing not to amplify the buzz surrounding her son Mavy Legaspi’s birthday greeting.
The actress, along with her son, became a subject of discussion on social media and entertainment platforms after Carmina emotionally addressed their family’s challenges on their show ‘Sarap Di Ba?’
During the birthday message for her twins, Mavy and Cassy, Carmina emphasized that she and Zoren Legaspi are not adversaries in their children’s lives but rather supportive figures. She stressed her desire for her twins to be regarded as respected individuals.
“Hindi ko alam bakit sinasabi nilang nakikialam ako, but I don’t care because I am your mother. Kung nakialam ako, hindi mangyayari ‘to. So it only means hindi ako nakialam,” the actress asserted.
Carmina avoided mentioning any names in her statements, but online users believe it might be connected to the separation of Mavy and Kyline Alcantara.
In an interview with ’24 Oras,’ Carmina expressed her reluctance to delve further into the issue. She stated, “Ang sa akin kasi, parang lahat na lang ng sasabihin ko or lahat na lang ng ipo-post ko, lagi na lang binibigyan ng ibig sabihin na ako naman eh, wala lang. So parang, huwag kayong masyadong mag-react, huwag natin masyadong gawing big deal, ‘di ba? Wala akong masamang ibig sabihin.”
