A love triangle is about to happen in the upcoming GMA Network family series My Guardian Alien,’ as confirmed by Josh Ford on March 21.
In the media conference held at the Luxent Hotel, Ford, who plays Aries, teased that there will be a rivalry between his character and Sean Lucas’ Kevin, who will get the attention of Hailey (Caitlyn Stave).
“Sa love triangle, so ako po si Aries, si Caitlyn si Hailey, at katabi ko naman si Sean si Kevin. May pagka-love triangle po kami. Kasi ako,farmer po ako eh; silang dalawa, mayaman.
“Parang noong dumating ang unang scene namin na magkasama, parang may added sense na may love triangle na kami. Siyempre si Aries, ‘yung character niya kasi, he’s a shy boy, tahimik lang siya. Hindi siya ‘yung tipong magpapakita sa camera,” shared the Kapuso artist.
Ford urged the audience to watch for it once the series airs on April 1.
“Kaya noong dumating si Kevin, may pagka-love triangle. Makikita niyo ‘yun, abangan niyo ‘yun.”
Lucas added a sense of a love triangle by describing his role, Kevin. According to the young artist, his character, coming from a wealthy family, knew his rival could not be worthy of being Hailey’s love interest.
“Si Kevin, siya ‘yung mayaman eh. So siya, ‘pag nakakita ng girl, parang pinopormahan niya. Sino ba naman itong farmer na ‘to? Walang laban sa’kin boy, parang ganoon si Kevin.”
Meanwhile, Stave revealed her unexpected journey to joining the cast.
“Well, I can say po about this show, and I’m very grateful to be part of it. Actually, I didn’t know until, like, medyo last minute na. Kasi, ‘yung audition, I think I was out of town at that time for the face-to-face po. So I did it online lang through Zoom.
“I didn’t really know what the show—parang I think I knew—parang, it was like very rushed and it was like really on the spot. I felt like I didn’t do so well in my audition and I was like, ‘It’s okay if I don’t get it, then it’s not for me. But if get it, then yey!'”
