Despite her Kapuso series yet to conclude, ‘Love. Die. Repeat.’ star Jennylyn Mercado on March 16 said she is already on to her next projects.
Her series starring alongside Xian Lim has reached its final week. Mercado revealed at the Paramount Coffee in Davao del Sur press conference that she has an upcoming film and a soon-to-be-released album.
“Sa ngayon, nagshu-shooting ako ng isang film. Hindi pa p’wedeng sabihin. Soon mapapanood niyo ‘yun,” she shared to the attending press, including LionhearTV. “Tapos gumagawa ako ng album under Star Music. So ‘yun nagre-recording na rin ako ngayon.”
When asked for a sample of one of her songs, the actress remained tight-lipped, saying, “Sa susunod na. Hindi pa p’wedeng magbigay ng sample para surprise. Para kapag narinig niyo, fresh na fresh, haha!”
She opted to keep the details under wraps, promising fans a fresh and surprising experience when her projects are unveiled.
Mercado was in Davao del Sur to celebrate with Davaoenos its 87th Araw ng Dabaw. Joining her in this festivity were ‘Asawa ng Asawa Ko’ stars Liezel Lopez and Martin Del Rosario, as well as ‘Abot na Kamay na Pangarap’ lead actress Jillian Ward and co-actor Raheel Bhyria. Kim Perez and Ruru Madrid of ‘Black Rider’ were also there.
