Viral street food vendor Diwata is set to grace the screens in the upcoming Kapamilya action series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.’
In a vlog, Diwata excitedly shared her involvement in the said program, disclosing that she has already commenced taping. However, the exact release date remains uncertain.
“Yeah tapos na ang taping ko sa ‘Batang Quiapo,’ pero next taping, hindi ko pa alam kung kailan. Pero nag-taping na ako. So, waiting na lang kung kailan ipapalabas. Abangan n’yo ko dun,” Diwata revealed.
She further revealed her co-stars in the series, mentioning prominent actors such as Coco Martin, Ivana Alawi, and Kim Rodriguez.
Diwata also divulged an interesting anecdote during the shoot. She mentioned being approached about the possibility of using her street food stall as a location for filming.
“Pwede… kaya lang sabi ko baka dumugin tayo,” she stated.
Excitedly sharing a screenshot of the ABS-CBN News report featuring her role in the series, Diwata expressed her gratitude for the opportunity.
“Pangarap ko lang dati sila makita pero ngayon makakasama kuna,” she gleefully exclaimed.
