Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI) celebrates its 30th year of “Never Say Die” spirit and they recently launched a special promo for their avid basketball fans from every generation.
In partnership with PBA, GSMI present to you The Ganado Classics: 3-Decade Jersey Collection which will run from May 1 to August 31, 2017.
This promo will give the fans a chance to collect the jerseys that became part of the most remarkable moments in history of the Ginebra San Miguel basketball team.
Not just a jersey
“Fans can now relive the Ginebra San Miguel basketball team’s historic moments. These jerseys are representations of the notable players from the different Ginebra eras. From the birth of never say die spirit through ‘Living Legend’ Robert Jaworski to the new generation of Gin Kings that continued the never say die legacy,” said Ginebra San Miguel brand manager Paolo Tupaz.
Owning the five jerseys would entitle history to the fan.
Last night at the PBA Cafe in Metrowalk, Ortigas, GSMI launched and presented the jerseys for the media to see first-hand.
There you have it from right to left: the First Edition (1985), the NSD SPIRIT (1991), the GINEBRA NA! (1996), the Barangay Ginebra GIN KINGS (1999), and the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel (2012-present).
‘Living Legend’ Robert Jaworski wasn’t able to arrive last night because he’s overseas. However, he made sure he won’t miss the glorious event of his former basketball team.
He recorded a video message for everyone to hear.
Die-hard Ginebra fans cheered upon the arrival of their basketball idols Bal David, Mark Caguioa and Scottie Thompson.
