GMA Network’s crime-mystery drama “Widows’ War” scored new victory against its Kapamilya rival, “Lavender Fields”, in the latest ratings battle.
According to the Nielsen NUTAM People ratings, “Widows’ War” overtook “Lavender Fields” on one occasion during the week of November 18 to 22.
On Thursday, November 21, “Widows’ War” recorded a rating of 7.6 percent, edging out “Lavender Fields”, which earned 7.2 percent. This marked the first win for “Widows’ War” since October 25, when it posted a rating of 8.0 percent compared to “Lavender Fields”‘ 7.8 percent.
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, November 19, “Widows’ War” tied with “Lavender Fields” in the overall ratings chart, with both shows securing 8.0 percent and sharing the 5th spot.
However, “Lavender Fields” maintained dominance for most of the week.
On Monday, November 18, it garnered a 10.0 percent rating, surpassing “Widows’ War’s” 8.6 percent by 1.4 percent. The trend continued on Wednesday, November 20, when “Lavender Fields” achieved a 9.0 percent rating, 0.6 percent higher than “Widows’ War’s” 8.4 percent.
On Friday, November 22, “Lavender Fields” concluded the week with another win, earning 7.8 percent and maintaining a 0.6 percent lead over “Widows’ War”, which registered a 7.2 percent rating.
Can “Widows’ War” manage to score another victory in the future or will “Lavender Fields” continue its clean sweep dominance?
