GMA Network’s afternoon drama series “Shining Inheritance” has recently delivered a strong ratings performance, posing a challenge to its fellow Kapuso show, “Lilet Matias,” for dominance in the afternoon time slot.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “Shining Inheritance” has shown consistent growth and even tied with “Lilet Matias” as the top afternoon drama in the country.
On Monday, November 25, “Shining Inheritance” recorded a 7.3% rating, tying with “Lilet Matias” and “It’s Showtime” at 7th place on the overall ratings chart.
However, on Tuesday, November 26, it experienced a slight dip, scoring 6.6%, trailing “Lilet Matias” by 0.5%, as the latter earned 7.1%. The following day, Wednesday, November 27, saw a minor recovery for “Shining Inheritance”, which added 0.1% to reach 6.7%, while “Lilet Matias” maintained its edge with a 7.0% rating.
The ratings battle intensified on Thursday, November 28, as “Shining Inheritance” climbed to 7.2%, although Lilet Matias also improved, securing 7.5%. By Friday, November 29, both shows ended the week on equal footing, tying for the top spot with a rating of 7.9%.
