Kapamilya heartthrob James Reid and P-pop girl group BINI delivered one of the biggest surprises at Puregold’s OPM Con 2025, held on July 5 at the Philippine Arena.

In front of more than 30,000 cheering fans, the two acts stunned audiences with an unexpected onstage collaboration that instantly became the talk of the night.
During BINI’s performance, the crowd erupted when Reid made an unannounced entrance, joining the girl group for a live rendition of their joint track ‘Secrets.’ Their seamless chemistry and dynamic stage presence had fans on their feet, with screams and applause echoing throughout the massive venue.
James also performed his solo hit ‘Di Bale,’ exuding charm in a brown suede top and vintage pants that matched his signature laid-back energy. BINI followed up with a crowd-pleasing medley of ‘Karera,’ ‘Cherry On Top,’ and ‘Pantropiko,’ electrifying the arena with vibrant choreography and strong vocals that showcased their growth as top-tier P-pop performers.

“Congratulations BINI. Had fun performing with you guys!” Reid later posted, signaling his support for more OPM collaborations.

Fans of both artists flooded social media with calls for another collab between the two, citing their natural stage rapport and youthful synergy as “refreshing and exciting.”
Beyond the star-studded performances, Puregold OPM Con 2025 proved to be a full-scale cultural celebration. Despite heavy rains, concertgoers lined up early at the venue, many dressed in their best OPM-themed outfits, eager to witness performances by SB19, Flow G, SunKissed Lola, G22, KAIA, Skusta Clee, and more.
Puregold’s Senior Marketing Manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad emphasized the event’s deeper purpose: “Puregold is about building meaningful experiences for the communities we serve. This concert was our way of giving back—to uplift and celebrate what makes us uniquely Filipino.”
Aside from the music, fans were treated to a festive atmosphere thanks to brand giveaways from Coca-Cola, Nestlé Bear Brand, Great Taste, Colgate, Champion, and other partners—turning the arena into a blend of live concert and lifestyle fair.
