ABS-CBN continues to expand its digital reach by relaunching the iWant app—now offering not just its own Kapamilya content, but also select titles from former rival GMA Network, along with films and series from Regal Entertainment, Viva, and a variety of independent creators.

The revamped iWant, which now boasts a sleeker design and improved functionality, was unveiled at the ‘Unlock Your Feels: The New iWant Experience’ event held at the ABS-CBN Compound. The relaunch reaffirms ABS-CBN’s shift from traditional broadcast to becoming a global content company focused on digital innovation.
“This isn’t just about streaming,” said ABS-CBN digital head Jamie Lopez. “As your digital home, iWant is where the stories you love meet all the feels you live. A place where we welcome all storytellers and all types of storytelling… where we will continue to be of service to the Filipino.”
The new version of the platform features faster performance, high-definition video previews, and compatibility with smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, desktops, Chromecast, and AirPlay.
As part of this content expansion, the platform now includes GMA Network titles, available outside the Philippines, further building on the ongoing partnership between the two media giants. Previous collaborations include the ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’, which featured talents from GMA Network’s Sparkle and ABS-CBN’s Star Magic; the hit teleserye ‘Unbreak My Heart’; and the box-office film ‘Hello, Love, Again’.
The launch event also featured the interactive ‘Museum of Filipino Feels,’ an exhibit highlighting iWant’s original titles, and brought together creators, actors, and directors from upcoming shows, including ‘Love at First Spike’, ‘Ghosting’ (starring Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra), and MMK: Director’s Cut.

Director Ivan Payawal, who helmed ‘Love at First Spike’, praised the creative freedom he experienced with the platform. “Binibigyan nila [iWant] kami ng todong suporta at freedom na magkuwento,” he said. “Minsan, ako na lang ang nagbibigay ng pressure sa sarili ko to do better dahil bihira lang mangyari na bigyan ka ng 100% trust [sa storytelling].”
Upcoming releases include ‘BINI World Tour Stories’ this September, more iWant Originals, documentaries from ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs, and new works from production partners like MavX, Project 8, Kinetec, Nathan Studios, and The Fat Kid Inside.
A monthly subscription to iWant with access to exclusive and original content is available for just P35.
