Kapuso actor Will Ashley has openly admitted that fellow Kapuso star and ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ Big Winner Mika Salamanca was the female housemate he liked during their time in Kuya’s house.
In the second episode of Mika’s YouTube vlog on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, titled ‘Will You Lie’, Will sat down for a lie detector challenge as Mika fired off a series of questions divided into easy, medium, and hard rounds.
During the “hard” round, Mika asked point-blank: “May natitipuhan ka ba sa mga housemates, yes or no?”
Instead of answering immediately, Will playfully bowed his head and pretended to fall asleep. “Inaantok ako, inaantok ako,” he joked.
Moments later, the Kapuso actor finally admitted, “Well, I think everyone knows naman na about this. Kasi since first week [pa lang sa Bahay Ni Kuya] nasabi ko na, di ba? Yes.” The polygraph indicated he was telling the truth.
When Mika followed up with “Who?”, Will initially dodged, saying, “Sinabi ko na nga. I-replay n’yo na lang dun sa Bahay Ni Kuya, guys.” But seconds later, he pointed to Mika and said, “Ikaw.”
The confession once again registered as “truth” on the lie detector, prompting cheers from the people behind the camera.
Mika responded, “Hindi, ayun naman, e, ano lang naman ‘yon, kumbaga ang pagkakagusto sa someone is paghanga lang naman ‘yon, hindi something.” Will teasingly told her, “Huwag mo na i-explain, nagmumukhang defensive, e.”
The tables then turned when Mika took the test and Will asked her the same question. Mika initially answered “Wala,” but the machine detected a lie. She later admitted she did like someone in the house but refused to name who. “Iiwan ko na lang dun. Tingnan ko na lang kapag nag-cross na natin yung bridge,” she said.
Will’s admission wasn’t entirely new. On the March 17, 2025 episode of PBB, he revealed that Mika caught his attention early in the season: “Na-meet ko na kasi siya twice… Kaya parang kumportable ako sabihin yung ganon.”
He reiterated his admiration during the April 8 Boys Night Out segment inside the house: “[Magko-confess] ako kay Mika kasi kilala ko siya sa social media lang. Siguro ang iko-confess ko sa kaniya is I wanna be friends with you more kahit sa labas. Sobrang bumilib ako kung paano siya mag-isip, kung gaano siya ka-strong as a person, and kung gaano siya ka-understanding sa lahat ng bagay. Gusto ko lang na ma-prove niya sa lahat ng tao kung sino talaga siya hindi lang sa kung paano siya nakilala sa social media.”
Will eventually finished his ‘PBB’ journey as the Second Big Placer alongside Kapamilya partner Ralph De Leon, while Mika and her partner Brent Manalo emerged as the Big Winners of the season.
