Madlang People and netizens were entertained by a playful jab made by Vice Ganda during the ‘Laro, Laro, Pick’ segment of ‘It’s Showtime’ on Tuesday, February 17.

During the segment, Vice asked a contestant if they knew how many commandments there are in the Bible.
“Nagbabasa ka ba ng Bibliya? Ilan ang utos ng Diyos?” Vice asked.
The contestant replied, “Ten po ba, Meme?”
Vice quickly countered with a punchline that sent the studio into laughter.
“Dati sampu, ngayon labing-isa na!” he said.
When the contestant looked puzzled, Vice delivered the punchline: “Yung panglabing-isang utos ng Diyos, mag-resign ka sa SexBomb sabi nung asawa ni Izzy.”
He repeated the joke once more while looking straight into the camera: “Ang panglabing-isang utos ng Diyos, mag-resign ka sa SexBomb.”
The remark drew loud laughter from co-hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario, as well as the studio audience. A splice video of the moment quickly made rounds on social media.
Vice’s quip appeared to reference the recent interview of Alvin Aragon on DWAR 1494 Abante Radyo, where he addressed why his wife, Izzy Trazona, left the SexBomb Girls in 2009.
In that interview, Aragon said it was not his decision but God’s.
“Sino ang nagpa-resign [kay Izzy] sa SexBomb? Ang Panginoon, noong naging Christian si Izzy. Pinag-resign ng Lord,” he said.
He added, “Sabi ni Lord kay Izzy, ‘Come, follow me. I will make you fishers of men.’ Nag-obey si Izzy doon.”
Aragon also cited concerns about the group’s name, outfits, and choreography, saying the word “Sex” in the group’s name was “hindi pleasing, hindi magandang impluwensiya sa maraming tao sa Pilipinas, sa mga bata especially.”
His remarks, including statements about LGBTQ individuals in the same interview, sparked widespread debate online.
Following Vice’s on-air joke, netizens quickly reacted.
“It’s even funnier because we only know him as ‘asawa ni Izzy’, another proof that he cannot dim his wife’s light even with all the hate he’s radiating through her,” one netizen commented.
Others noted that Vice seemed fully aware of trending topics online, particularly on X, where the issue continues to circulate.
As of writing, Aragon has not publicly responded to Vice Ganda’s remark.
