Everything seems to be going well for Janine (Maja Salvador) and Jake (Jason Abalos) as they finally reignite the flame they started way before all tragedies in their lives happened. Just when their love will finally have a chance to flourish once more, Matthew (Patrick Garcia) will be consumed by hatred and jealousy that will push him to abduct Janine.
He will take her to a romantic place and treat her like a princess just to win her back. But when Janine told him that it is Jake whom she truly loves, Matthew snaps and burns the house where they are staying, saying that he’d rather die with Janine than to see her in the arms of another man.
