GMA News TV’s “Ilustrado” takes viewers through Jose Rizal’s travels in Europe, including Rizal’s many romances, his rivalry with Filipinos abroad, his poverty and homesickness and his passion to write about his homeland. “Ilustrado” is the fourth social realist drama production of the GMA News TV.
Say goodbye for now for boy-next-door and leading man roles for Alden Richards was tapped to play the role of the National Hero for the documentary series “Ilustrado.” The role was first offered to Tom Rodriguez.
To air soon on GMA News TV 11 and GMA Network, “Ilustrado” is the fourth social realist drama offering of the production behind “Bayan Ko,” “Titser” and “Sa Puso ni Dok.”
