Regine Velasquez-Alcasid is maybe already tired of working on a Sunday after almost 18 years of performing on GMA Network’s Sunday musical-variety shows, from “SOP” to “Party Pilipinas” and today’s “Sunday All Stars.” GMA Network is reportedly planning for a new show, a replacement for the ailing show “Sunday All Stars.” The show won an international award but it’s not enough to keep the audiences glued on the show.
According to Noel Ferrer‘s informant, the Asia’s Songbird was supposed to be part of this new show but she declined. “Si Ate Reg, in-offer makasama sa bagong show pero siya na ang tumanggi.”
Based on the names given by Ferrer on his article, the said replacement of “Sunday All Stars” will really be a new format, definitely far from we are watching now on musical-variety shows. With the names of Marian Rivera, Ai Ai de las Alas, May Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola on the list, it might be a comedy show, or a talk show perhaps. What do you think?
