ABS-CBN’s “Pinoy Big Brother” is one of the most popular reality TV show. It could also be a stepping stone for those who want to enter showbiz. But not anyone can get in. Everybody undergoes to a series of auditions to keenly select the aspiring house mate. Even some of the showbiz personalities tried out to join this show.
To name a few, the former Starstruck finalist, Gian Carlos, who tried his luck to join. Big Loser Doubles contestant Ralph Du auditioned too. But in the latest news, it is revealed that the phenomenal AlDub tries out to be a house mate in “Pinoy Big Brother.” The downside was, they were never selected.
Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza didn’t know each other yet that time. They both have their own stories of that try-out that they carry now as a motivation to their stardom. Maine wasn’t selected because according to the source, her story is not interesting enough to entice people. Although her trending Dubsmash videos about the Queen of all Media Kris Aquino is mentioned, she still didn’t get in.
On the other hand, Alden Richards took the failed audition as a challenge to do his job better. Since he previously felt neglected and hurtfully criticized by a lot of people in the past. In fact, the said audition was a big impact on him because the story he shared is about the passing of his mother.
Who would imagine that the two PBB failures, are now one of the most popular people. They are recognized not only here in the Philippines, but also in other countries as well. Their trending tandem is enough proof that they already had gone a long way to reach their dreams.
And it seems like that they are now the precious gems of GMA Network. Everybody loves them. Every brand wants to get them. Whatever their experiences are, it’s a good thing that it helps them to be in wherever they are now.
