Kapamilya network wins big last weekend based on the latest AGB Nielsen NUTAM People survey from July 27 – 30, 2017. Two ABS-CBN shows ruled the weekend, topping the ratings board.
“Maalala Mo Kaya” had a back to back win after topping Saturday program again last July 29. “MMK” which featured the story of a self-made teacher Dr. Basa portrayed by Yves Flores, topped the ratings board. Scoring 13.2%, the episode massacred rival “Magpakailanman” which only got 10.1%.
This is not the first time Yves was featured on “MMK” but this was the best he got so far. His “MMK” episode is now the highest rated MMK on AGB’s People survey since April 1, 2017. He even surpassed Angel Locsin’s Kotse-Kotsehan episode 12.1%, Liza Soberano’s Korana (Pia Wurtzback story) 12.8% and Piolo Pascual’s Upuan episode 11.4%. It’s a good indication that Yves can be on his own and still command viewership.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, “The Voice Teens” finale ruled the ratings board. The teen singing competition which crowned its first ever Pinoy and Asian grand winner Jona Soquite posted a ratings of 12.5% to become the most watch TV show among Sunday programs.
“The Voice Teens” was followed by “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” in number two with 11.6% and Wansapanataym in third with 10.4%.
