The One That Got Away‘s premise tells the story of three beautiful and independent women (Zoe, Darcy and Alex) who bonds over having the same ex-boyfriend while still harboring feelings for him. The sexy-romantic-comedy television series guarantees viewers to believe in love, family and friendship.
The One That Got Away stars Rhian Ramos (Zoe), Max Collins (Darcy) and Lovi Poe (Alex). The show also stars Dennis Trillo (William Dominic “Liam” Ilustre) as the ex-boyfriend that the three women pine over.
Dennis plays William Dominic “Liam” Ilustre, the ideal handsome, smart and loving boyfriend. He has his own organic farm and wants a big, happy family. He had a fatal accident which led to him being induced in a comatose. When he woke up from the comatose to find his three ex-girlfriends in one room.
Lovi plays Alexandra Rey “Alex” Makalintal, a career-driven woman. Although she and Liam fell madly in love and his friends liked her for him. Liam proposed to Alex but her career-goals got in the way. She rejected him which led to them parting ways.
Max plays Darlene “Darcy” Sibuyan, a personal trainer who assists her siblings financially. She and Liam met after he broke up with Alex. They became friends until they eventually fall in love with each other. However, when Darcy received an offer to work abroad, she decided to take it. Unfortunately, the long distance relationship didn’t work for both of them which led to the break-up.
Rhian plays Sophia Elizabeth “Zoe” Velasquez, a happy-go-lucky swimwear designer. When she was young, her parents separated and Liam became the only person she can lean on. However, when Zoe started to turn possessive and Liam started having busy schedules, their relationship fell apart. When they broke up, Zoe regretted her decision and ultimately wants Liam back.
Ivan Dorschner plays Iñigo Sandoval, a trust-fund baby. He has a business degree and Liam’s college friend. Iñigo travels the world, meeting women in doing so. He falls in love with Darcy which causes a conflict between him and Liam.
Migo Adecer plays Samuel “Sam” Isaac, Zoe’s troublesome half-brother. He came home from Australia and Zoe assigned him to manage one of her coffee shops. Although he has had a lot of girlfriends in the past, he develops a serious crush on Alex.
On his first ever GMA project, Jason Abalos plays Gael Makalintal, Alex’s brother, a cool single dad to his four-year-old-son, Nemo. When he, a chick-magnet, started dating Zoe, it caused a rift between him and Alex.

The One That Got Away is expected to replace My Korean Jagiya, the rival show of ABS-CBN’s hit teleserye The Good Son, on its timelot on GMA Telebabad.
