Summer isn’t over yet! And in Boracay – the Philippines’ Summer Party Capital – the heat is just about to go a notch higher as some of the biggest stars of GMA Network, topbilled by Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo, give an all-out access to entertainment and party to all Kapuso through a two-day event dubbed “Kapuso Weekend” this May 11 to 12!
Ready to take those barefoot-steps on the island’s powdery white sands and participate in Day 1 activities are Dennis (Biritera) together with Jennylyn Mercado (Showbiz Central), Mark Herras and Bela Padilla (Hiram Na Puso), Bianca King, Gabby Eigenmann, and Rochelle Pangilinan (Broken Vow), Geoff Eigenmann, Sam Pinto, Carlo Gonzales, and Arthur Solinap (Legacy), LJ Reyes (The Good Daughter), Michelle Madrigal, Isabel Oli, Jay-R, Rachelle Ann Go, and Jolina Magdangal (Party Pilipinas), plus Bubbles Paraiso, Carl Guevarra, Victor Aliwalas, Wil Devaughn, and John Feir.
Also geared up to dive into the island’s clear blue waters and join in the Day 2 fun are My Beloved lead actor Dingdong together with Lovi Poe, Mike Tan, and Solenn Heusaff (Legacy), Isabelle Daza (I Bilib), and Ehra Madrigal (Broken Vow).
Kicking-off the weekend celebration on Friday is the “Kapuso ng Kalikasan: Walk for a Cause and Coastal Clean-up.” As part of the Network’s CSR, it will include a clean-up drive along the Boracay shoreline. It will be followed by a number of pocket activities and games on the beach.
Kapuso supporters also get the chance to groove those Latin-inspired moves with the “Zumbaracay with the Stars” and relax at the Kapuso Beach Lounge. Then, serving as the day’s highlight will be the “Kapuso Night” at 7PM.
Meanwhile, more surprises await all Kapuso in Boracay as the Saturday celebration begins with a soothing “Beach Yoga with the Stars,” and “Kapuso Beach Volleyball Invitational Games” after, which are set to trigger the participants’ adrenaline rush.
And while everyone watches the sun to set, a Reggae Band will offer great party music at the Kapuso Beach Lounge. It will be followed by the Kapuso Dancer’s Fire Dance Exhibition by the beach. Wrapping up the celebration for the Kapuso Weekend is another fun-filled “Kapuso Night” at 7:30PM.
