“The Golden Road to the Crown” shares the candidates’ unique personalities and touching life stories in exclusive interviews. It also imparts activities and workshops they underwent to further enhance their skills. Among the personalities who mentored them are ramp diva and 1992 Binibining Pilipinas-Maja International, Marina Benipayo, who gave them personality development training, and veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez, who trained them for the question-and-answer portion.
Also, take a glance at “The Queens’ Exclusive Reunion Party” where Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI), led by its Chairperson Madame Stella Marquez Araneta, gathered the past and current titleholders in a tea party as part of celebrating Binibining Pilipinas’ 50 beautiful years.
Madame Araneta, herself a Miss International titleholder (1960), opened the gates of her private residence in Bahay na Puti, Quezon City to welcome the beauty queens.
Among the beauty queens who graced the event were Ms. Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1969; Ms. Aurora Pijuan, Miss International 1970; Ms. Ruffa Gutierrez, Miss World 1993 2nd Princess; Ms. Miriam Quiambao, Miss Universe 1999 1st Runner Up; Ms. Precious Lara Quigaman, Miss International 2005; Ms. Venus Raj, Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner Up; and Ms. Shamcey Supsup, Miss Universe 2011 3rd Runner Up.
Also at the event were the reigning titleholders Janine Mari Tugonon, Miss Universe 2012 1st Runner Up; Nicole Schmitz, Miss International 2012 Semifinalist; Katrina Jayne Dimaranan, Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism 2012; Elaine Kay Moll, Miss Supranational 2012 3rd Runner Up; and Annalie Forbes, Binibining Pilipinas 2012 2nd Runner Up.
Newholders of Binibining Pilipinas’ most prestigious and much-coveted titles will be revealed on April 14 in a glittering production of its grand coronation night to be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum that will air live on ABS-CBN at 9:45pm after “Gandang Gabi Vice.”
