ABS-CBN’s premiere drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” recently ruled weekend primetime TV as its heavy drama episode last Saturday (July 13) that starred singer-actress Angeline Quinto became the no.1 overall weekend show with its whopping 36.5% national TV ratings.
Based on the data from Kantar Media, the Mae Czarina Cruz-directed “MMK” episode was 11 points higher than the 20% earned by its rival drama anthology in GMA “Magpakailanman.” In the story, Angeline portrayed Ellah, a hardworking daughter who would do everything to support her family, including working as a clown.
