Thirty-six year old public school teacher Lorilyn Villos, one of typhoon Pablo’s victim in Davao last year, shares that some government officials had promised to send them financial help but they have not received any amount until now. Her family’s properties and copra business worth approximately P170,000 were destroyed by the deadly typhoon.
She claimed that she does not mind if the government would not be able to help them as long as they did not make a promise. If the calamity funds did not reach the calamity victims, how were the funds spent?
