Since she’s a ‘Cornejo,’ some netizens assumed that Denise Millet Cornejo is related to veteran broadcast journalist Mel Tiangco and musician Wency Cornejo. On her Facebook profile, she also stated that she’s the grand niece of GMA Network’s second president, Rod Cornejo, which is still not clear.
Anyways, I received an email linking to this post by Wency Cornejo denying any relationship with this controversial girl.
Here’s his post:
“A friend in the states just messaged me saying that if i needed support she’s there for me daw. Ang rason, kumakalat daw na anak ko yung Deniece Cornejo. Hahaha! Alam ko maganda lahi ko pero di ko kilala yung batang yun. May article pa.”
He also added as comment on this post, “nakakabaliw noh? imagine what the really big stars have to go through everyday. super daming nag iimbento ng balita. sad sad state of journalism.”
