If Angel Locsin will be reprising the role of “Darna” in a movie, Marian Rivera revealed in an interview that she wants to reprise her role as “Dyesebel,” now being played by Anne Curtis on ABS-CBN.
“Hindi, kasi sa Dyesebel, doon ko na-realize sa sarili ko na ang galing ko palang mag-dive at mag-swimming. At bakit, panoorin mo ang Dyesebel, nag-i-smile ako, nagto-talk ako dun, walang bubbles,” the actress explained.
Marian played the role of “Dyesebel” in GMA Network’s TV series adaptation in 2008. Remember, Marian’s “Dyesebel” is still today’s record-holder in TV ratings for series adaptations.
Since ABS-CBN has now all the rights for Mars Ravelos creations including “Dyesebel,” will it be possible for Marian to be the “Dyesebel” again? Well it’s possible, if there would be a Star Cinema-Regal Films collaboration.
