Due to poverty, Luis’ biological mother Lisa (Desiree de Valle) left him at Dra. Caren’s clinic after giving birth upon learning about his health condition.
However, when Luis turned five, Lisa returned to reclaim her son. But Dra. Caren could not just let Luis out of her life since she had treated him as her own son.
