Versatile actor Mark Gil passed away today, September 1, 2014 at 8 in the morning due to cirrhosis or an advance liver disease.
Gil is the son of actors Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil, brother of actors Michael de Mesa and Cherie Gil. He is also the father of Timmy “Sid Lucero” Eigenmann and Maxene “Max” Eigenmann from actress Bing Pimentel, and of Andi Eigenmann from another actress, Jaclyn Jose.
Gil’s last project with ABS-CBN was the top-rating show “The Legal Wife,” where he played the role of Dante Ramos.
The actor is supposed to celebrate his 53rd birthday on September 25, 2014.
