Happy Pasko as what they said, as Kapatid Network held the very first Christmas Party for the press on Wednesday, December 3 at Elements Centris, Quezon City. First time to happen that a network shared happiness to press people. Eventually everyone was excited. They made it so Filipino-like from the decorations to the food.
The program was opened by Ogie Alcasid, led a prayer and sung a song that was never released yet that is included on his upcoming album. Ritz Azul, Mark Neumann, Akihiro Blanco and Artista Academy talents presented a dance number hereafter.
While The Amazing Race Philippines 2 finalists and members of Juan Direction and Empoy graced the event too; seen walking around to greet the press people.
It was a touching moment for everyone when they showed a compiled video of the press people who already departed paying tribute to their intellectual and braveness in writing. To recall, those are Mar D’Guzman Cruz, Ernie Enrile, Ernie Pecho and Monching Jaramillo. TV5 also handed out appreciation thru Kapatid Katuwaan Awards.
Among to the awards and awardee are: Amazing Race Award(for being an early bird in the presscons) Bong De Leon; Talentadong Pinoy Award – Rey Pumaloy; Trenderas Fashionista Award – Emmy Abuan; Mali-mali Award – Letty Celi and Newsmaker of the Year – Mercy Lejarde. Almost everyone took home cash prize. Not bad at all!
“It will be the year of a happier Pinoy,” PR Head Peachy Vibal Guioguio shared. She also added ““We’ll have programs with Happy vibes to make viewers smile and feel more alive. We’ll have sitcoms aimed to make viewers laugh, like Mac & Chiz with Derek Ramsay and No Harm No Foul with Ogie Diaz, Ritz Azul, Sophie Albert, Valeen Montenegro and PBA top cagers trying to act for the first time.”
