After the airtime agreement contract signing with GMA Network last week, controversial comedian and TV host Willie Revillame and his team are now preparing for the official launch and airing of their variety/game show titled “WoWoWin,” similar to the previous ones he had with the other TV networks. “Itong programang ito ay ‘Wowowin’. Yung ‘win,’ sila ang winner dito eh. ‘Yung wow na feeling, ‘di ba? ‘Yung feeling na ‘yun, it’s Wowowin,” he shares.
Though there’s no official announcement when “WoWoWin” is going to air on GMA Network, several publications already announced that the show is going to air every Sunday starting April 26, no exact timeslot yet if its going to air before or after “Sunday All Stars.”
Willie also announced that “Bigyan ng Jacket” and “Willie of Fortune” will be their banner segments for their one-hour show. “Hindi basta-basta [ang mga papremyo]. Magbibigay kami ulit ng P1M. Mamimigay rin kami ng mga sasakyan, house & lot, kumpleto na,” Willie added.
Since it’s Sunday, Willie’s show would run right smack against longest-running musical-variety show “ASAP” which is celebration its 20th year this year. A neck-and-neck fight in the ratings game, wouldn’t it be? Will this be Willie’ sweet vengeance?
