The Megastar is back being an official Kapamilya after inking a deal with ABS-CBN this afternoon.
BS-CBN president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio, COO Carlo Katigabk, free TV head Cory Vidanes, chief financial officer Aldrin Cerrado, TV production head Laurenti Dyogi, and business unit head Lui Andrada welcomed Sharon Cuneta in a contract signing at the ABS-CBN compound on the afternoon of March 9, 2015.
And now she’s back being a Kapamilya, her first project will be a judge together with Gary Valenciano and Jed Madella in ABS-CBN’s newest franchise “Your Face Sounds Familiar” hosted by Billy Crawford. For the first time in her career, the Megastar will sit in a jury to critique the live performances of eight celebrity performers who will impersonate popular local and international music icons in the said program.
For the past few days, Sharon has expressed her excitement over her latest TV project on social media, thrilling speculation among her fans. “I love you all from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering love and support,” she told Sharonians on her Facebook page.
She’s also expected to do a teleserye for a change and a talk show soon. Well, we’ll see if this comeback will be this really big and they were saying.
In 2011, Cuneta transferred to TV5 in a reportedly P1 billion-deal after being with ABS-CBN for 23 years. In August last year, Sharon announced her departure from the network.
