They officially introduced the McRib, a mouth-watering barbecue goodness in very affordable price last April 15 and it is available in all their stores nationwide.
What is McRib? It is a rib-shaped pork patty dipped in sweet, tangy and smoky barbecue sauce, topped with pickle slices and slivered onions, sandwiched between two warm caramelized buns. So, are you drooling now? That is how much McDonald’s Philippines love their consumers because they are just creating food that is too complementing that tickle our taste buds.
Friends from the media were lucky enough to have the first taste of this newest product offering last April 14 during the media launch opened by the perky DJ Nikko Ramos (Magic 89.9). Aside from Q&A game (that was enjoyed by all of us because it feels like we are back in our childhood days), three lucky winners took home a very special gift from McDonald’s Philippines. Senior Vice President for Marketing, Ms. Margot Torres was also present in the event to give all the information the public need about McRib. She said, “McDonald’s is excited to introduce the McRib sandwich in the Philippines. We remain committed to surprising and delighting our customers with a variety of delicious meals made with high-quality ingredients at a great value. The McRib is all that and more – it is a delicious food experience one should enjoy while it lasts.”
It is available in two servings: McRib (P99) and McRib Deluxe (P119), includes the world-famous French fries and drinks. Offered for a limited time only.
