Televiewers have known Lauren Young as a sweet, charming young lady when she’s still starting on ABS-CBN until she was given the chance to be the lead of ABS-CBN’s remake of “Mula Sa Puso” in 2011. With that teleserye, she became an actress.
Anyways, fast-forward, she became a Kapuso in 2013 and from then on, she was typecast-ed as a kontrabida starting from “Mundo Mo’y Akin.”
And now, Lauren Young will be playing the role of Antonia Santibañez, not included on Marian Rivera’s version of “Marimar” in 2007. She will go head to head with her sister Megan Young with the new Angelika Santibañez, which will be played by Jaclyn Jose.
This looks great but we’ll see if she can surpass the levels of a better kontrabida in the original “Marimar.”
